WANDERERS star Stig Tofting's has been formally charged with assaulting two people outside a Copenhagen cafe during a post-World Cup party with his international team-mates.
There were hopes that police would drop an assault charge against him after two alleged victims refused to press charges.
But Tofting will now appear in a Copenhagen court in October after being formally charged with assaulting two people outside a cafe on June 23.
If found guilty he could face up to 18 months in prison.
Tofting spent a night in custody after the incident.
