THE Royal Oak quiz team will be hoping for a mighty win when they take on General Williams tonight.
The Bradshaw pub team who have been together for 12 years, are the second team to take part in the Bolton Evening News/BBC Radio Lancashire and GMR Lancashire Quiz Challenge. School secretary at Horwich Parish School, Barbara Worthington and her team of accountant Martin Collins and husband and wife Richard and Christine Elias, will be travelling to Burnley to take on the General Williams pub team. The contest will be recorded and broadcast later this summer. For anyone wanting to go along and cheer the team, the recording starts at 8.30pm. The General Williams is on Manchester Road, Burnley.
