A PENSIONER is recovering today after her bag was snatched by two thugs, leaving her shaken but unhurt.
Police said a red car pulled up beside the 81-year-old woman in High Street, Little Lever, at about 3.40pm yesterday. The pensioner was knocked to the ground by two men who then snatched her handbag.
Two men have been arrested and are being quizzed by police today.
