SORRY, I can't agree with a poll in the BBC Good Food magazine to find the nation's least-loved tastes.

If they conducted that specifically in Bolton, tripe (No.1 in the hate list) and black pudding (No.4) would probably come in the Top Ten Most Loved Tastes.

Can't argue on haggis (No.11), however. I had it once, in Scotland in its traditional form, and it was like eating a slightly savoury pillow. But not quite as appetising.
