Neil John Lyon, aged 27, of Bolton Road, Farnworth, appeared before Bolton JPs for breaching his bail conditions.
Lyon admitted that he had not reported to Bolton police station on a number of occasions. The court heard Lyon had not attended because he had been working and had continued not to attend because he did not want to be arrested.
Magistrates gave him conditional bail.
He is due to appear before Salford Magistrates on Thursday for a report from the Probation Service.
