A ROAD accident in Westhoughton prevented a man from attending Bolton Magistrates Court.
John Allan Edwards, aged 27, of Broadwalk, Westhoughton, had been due to appear on a theft charge, but the court heard he had suffered a fractured skull and shoulder. The case was adjourned.
