LEIGH Ospreys' fished a match on the Butts Bridge to Hall House length and the older lads' section was again headed by Danny Martin who latched onto a tench of about 2lbs plus a few roach on bread for a total weight of 2-14-0.
J Hibbert was runner-up with 0-11-0 and D Talbot third with 0-6-0.
Ten year-old Chris Birchall topped the youngsters. Chris saw a 14 oz perch by his keepnet, dropped his bait in front of it and the fish took it. He finished with 1-11-0. Michael McGrath took second with a nice net of roach totalling 1-3-0 and Rachel Leyland was third with 0-15-0.
