FUND-RAISING children made a splash and raised £800 for the Make a Wish charity which helps to make dreams come true for youngsters with life-threatening illness.
A total of 35 boys and girls took part in a sponsored swim at Total Fitness, off Blackburn Road, Bolton, organised by Bolton mother Lynn Glenn.
Mrs Glenn was featured in the Bolton Evening News after her son, Mark, was diagnosed with bone cancer and was treated to a family holiday by the charity.
Lofty the Lion made a special appearance at the centre to give his roar of approval.
