THE Alder Hey parents' group PITY2 goes to the High Court today.
They want a judicial review of the General Medical Council decision not to discipline most of the doctors named in the Redfern organ retention report.
PITY2 claims that the GMC did not properly investigate before it dismissed the complaints.
It is thought this is the first time the GMC must publicly account for how it makes disciplinary decisions over doctors after controversial cases.
