MANCHESTER City Council has won a top award for one of its key regeneration projects in the city centre.
The £26m International Convention Centre is one of five new buildings to receive an accolade from the Royal Institute of British Architects.
Judges praised the centre for its "high architectural standards and contribution to the local environment".
