A STORE room was the subject of a suspected arson attack yesterday.
The blaze at the single-storey outbuilding at a builder's yard in Harrowby Street, Farnworth, was reported at 6.30am.
It is believed someone had broken in and set fire to a pile of rubbish. The inside of the building was badly damaged and firefighters had to strip the roof. Police are investigating.
