ON the early hours of Saturday, June 6, a sneak thief cut a transformer from my wife's battricar parked outside on our driveway.
The battricar is my wife's independence and this thief has taken away this independence.
We have limited means of finance and, even if we had access to a transformer, we have been told it will cost £128 at least to replace. It will also take quite a while to sort out. My wife cannot walk very far and the battricar was her passport to tootling around town and doing bits and pieces for herself.
I would appeal to the thief to search their conscience and return to us the transformer. It can be left in the same way it was taken, silently in the night.
