A JOBLESS man who indecently assaulted a woman on a bus has been jailed for nine months.
Javed Montakhab, aged 52, will be subject to the restrictions of the Sex Offenders Act for 10 years.
Judge Michael Henshell said, on release, Montakhab, of Polefield Approach, Prestwich, would be on licence for an extended period of two years.
Montakhab admitted indecent assault.
The 28-year-old woman got on the Bury-bound bus in March last year.
After it left Manchester city centre, Montakhab boarded the half-full bus and sat beside the victim and indecently assaulted her.
