May Queen
Come to May Queen's crowning
THE annual Rose Queen will be crowned during a festival at a Halliwell church.
A procession and competition will start at 2.15pm on Saturday, July 6, and Queen Elect Caroline Bridge will be crowned at 3pm at St Thomas the Apostle church.
Entertainment and refreshments will be available in the school hall afterwards.
Admission is by programme, adults 50p and children 25p.
