A SOLDIER who died 87 years ago in the First World War is to get his name placed next to his fallen comrades on a memorial gate.
Sergeant Charles Ormesher, of Ormskirk, was listed as missing in action in June 1915.
But because the 28-year-old was not declared killed in action, his name did not appear on any memorial.
Now, after years of campaigning by his family, his name is to be added to a memorial at Menin, in Belgium.
