RMI have made a third signing of the summer in left-back Paul Williams from Ilkeston Town.
Williams joins an un-named attacking player and goalkeeper Stuart Coburn on the playing staff at Hilton Park, after seven players left the club for different reasons since the end of the last campaign.
Dave Felgate, Craig Dootson and Steve Thompson were released with Mark Westhead, Michael Twiss, Dave German and Dave Ridings accepting contracts with other clubs.
Williams has played in the Football League for both Plymouth Argyle and Bury in recent years, but is now part of Steve Waywell's re-building system, following a summer of upheavel.
More signings are expected, but not in the short term, as Waywell added: "I am not looking to make too many permanent moves before the pre-season friendlies because I need to choose players carefully. However, I believe that next season's side will be better than that for last season, but on a smaller budget."
RMI are due to start their pre-season games in five weeks time when they travel to Kidsgrove Athletic for a friendly.
