THE Queen, in her Jubilee address, brought together the people of the Commonwealth.
Sadly, this is not reflected in local communities throughout Britain.
In Bolton we have a large Asian community, mainly concentrated in Bolton South East, but not one Asian councillor. I hope Bolton will take the lead in redressing this balance.
Dr Brian Iddon MP is the sitting member and due to retire at the next election because he will be over 65. Why can we not have Bolton South East represented by an Asian?
