MANCHESTER-born Oasis star Noel Gallagher has said he became hooked on valium while kicking a cocaine habit.
The singer said he turned to the pills to keep him calm and he admitted they fuelled the recording of the Standing On The Shoulder of Giants album.
In an interview with the NME, he said: "It was harder coming off them than anything else."
