COMMUNITY projects will have the opportunity to be recognised for their Crime reduction achievements with the launch of the Marks & Spencer British Community Safety Awards 2002, run in association with Crime Concern.
Five projects will be selected as winners and will be awarded a prestigious trophy.
One overall winner will be selected and will go on to compete for a place in the European Crime Prevention Awards and a chance to win 10,000 euros (£6,250).
The awards are open to any projects working in the community safety field. The closing date is September 31.
