A MAN who drove through a red traffic light managed to keep his licence because a ban would have cost him his job.
Bury magistrates took a sympathetic view after hearing how Howard Kempton, aged 38, was due to be disqualified under the totting-up procedure.
Kempton, from Shakespeare Road, Prestwich, was fined £60, with £35 costs.
