ALL the fuss about Cherie Blair's appearance and behaviour during the Jubilee celebrations seems terrifically unfair.
OK. So the woman has the dress sense of a Yeti and appears to totally misunderstand what hairdressers actually do. But there is no need to condemn her.
A few yawns at the boring bits, memory lapses on protocol, and a tendency to jig about and know the words to 70s hits does not make her a bad person. In fact, she was one of the few VIPs, along with Zara Phillips, who actually looked like they were having a good time at the excellent pop concert.
Cherie is a busy mother, a successful QC and wife to the country's Prime Minister. And, fortunately, her other big virtue is that she does not appear to give a damn about what anyone else thinks of her.
