music for a summer evening features on Saturday, 7.30pm, at Christ Church, Markland Hill, Heaton.
The event will feature The Brixi Singers and will include a wide range of music including songs from Showboat and Les Miserables, through to pieces by Brahms and Bruckner, and solo items.
The choir will be conducted by Richard Lea. Adding to the entertainment will be the 30-strong choir from St Bede's School, Morris Green. Tickets, £5, are from the Brixi Box Office on 01204 407234 or on the door.
