A MOTHER was fined after she admitted breaching a probation order.
Kelly Bentley, aged 27, of Brunswick Avenue, Horwich, had been given a six month probation order for a theft offence. But Bolton magistrates heard yesterday she had failed to keep in touch with her supervising officers and had missed some appointments.
The court was told that Bentley's child was unwell and because of the shift pattern of her job as a care assistant she could not attend the times agreed.
She was fined £30 and the order was allowed to continue.
