A 45-year-old man appeared before Bury magistrates charged with child sex offences.
Michael Staszkiw, currently being held at Forest Bank prison, is charged with raping a boy under 16, two charges of gross indecency and a further offence of indecent assault.
The offences are alleged to have taken place in Prestwich.
In addition, he faces 13 charges of making an indecent photograph, one of taking an indecent photograph and a further one of possessing indecent photographs of children.
The case was adjourned.
