A COMPUTER virus disrupted the e-mail system at Bolton Town Hall.
A rogue message was sent and opened by a member of staff and it began flooding the system with thousands of duplicate messages.
The e-mail entitled "Shakira's pictures" automatically sends itself to every person in the address book, both with internal systems and globally.
And it means this morning hundreds of Bolton workers could find it on their computers.
IT officers had to install a programme which automatically deleted the messages.
