A MAN will stand trial at the Crown Court over allegations that he stole a car and petrol.
Marc Bateson, aged 27, of Westland Avenue, Farnworth, appeared before Bolton magistrates accused of stealing a Vauxhall Cavalier worth £700, driving while disqualified, using a vehicle without insurance and stealing petrol. The case will be committed to the Crown Court on August 6. He was given bail.
