A MAN accused of evading import duty on cigarettes and drink appeared before Bury magistrates.
Frederick Cullen, aged 55, of Medlock Way, Whitefield, faces four charges of knowingly defrauding Customs and Excise.
The charges involve 160,000 cigarettes, 200 litres of drink and hand-rolling tobacco.
The case was adjourned until June 25. Conditional bail was granted.
