WITHINS School is continuing to provide some of the most promising young wrestlers in the country.
The Bolton school has already proved they are a class above having taken the British Schools Championship at Birmingham Sports Centre.
Now pupils Robert Neild and Tom Darby, both 13 years old, are set for international stardom having been selected to take part in a ten day training session with the British Junior squad over in Latvia.
They will be joined by St Joseph's wrestlers Michael Grundy and Louisa Salmon, and Phillip Roberts of Westhoughton High.
Anyone that can offer sponsorship of any form should contact Barry Leese at Withins School on (01204) 332533.
The school will host the Indiana State wrestling team next Monday for a day of training with top coach Roy Wood, followed by competition in the afternoon.
Among the many guests will be the Chairman of the British Wrestling Association.
