POLICE and fire brigade officials are investigating a blaze which has destroyed 25 cars belonging to holidaymakers parked in a car storage near Manchester airport.
The vehicles include a number of luxury limousines including a Porsche and a Mercedes.
The blaze happened at Males Tractor Services, Hasty Lane, Ringway, just after 3am. The cars were all parked in a compound and had been left by holidaymakers booked to fly from Manchester airport.
Firefighters were alerted by a 999 call from a caretaker at the premises.
Investigations are now under way to determine the cause of the fire.
