ONE man had to be cut free from his car after a serious collision in Leigh early today.
The accident, involving a Peugeot 305 and a Ford Mondeo, happened at 5.30am on Atherleigh Way, at the junction of Kirkhall Lane, outside Asda.
The Peugeot driver was taken to the Wigan Royal Infirmary. The driver of the Mondeo was also taken to hospital with leg injuries.
