work on restoring the Rochdale Canal has entered its final stages after a ruling by the High Court.
British Waterways needed a compulsory purchase order before it could complete work to rejoin the canal after it was separated by the building of the M62.
Now work on the final stages is under way to have the restoration complete before July 1.
