IN response to a comment made by "Responsible Driver" (Letters, May 20) regarding learners driving slowly.
I teach my customers to drive at a speed safe for the conditions. If it is safe to drive at 40 in a 40mph zone they do so, to avoid holding up and annoying following traffic.
They are also taught to be patient when following someone who might not be driving as fast as they could.
