A BOY was recovering in hospital today with a broken leg and ankle after being involved in a collision with a car yards from his home.
Daniel Gee, aged 11, of Bury Road, was injured in an accident with a white Rover car in rush-hour traffic on Bury Road, Breightmet.
Police said he was in a comfortable condition at the Royal Bolton Hospital today after undergoing surgery last night.
Driver Kathryn Melia, aged 25, of Manchester Road, Bolton was unhurt. The incident caused delays along Bury Road at about 5.45pm yesterday.
