I WONDER at the lack of vision and foresight displayed by Bolton Education Authority in proposing the closure of Bridgewater Nursery School.

Anybody who has had experience of the school will appreciate the excellence and innovation that combine to create the stimulating and exciting atmosphere which pervades every inch and so motivates and enthrals its small occupants.

I have had two children attend the school and have only wondered through the years what it is that so drives and energises the team into never-ending dedication. How can such a jewel be thrown away!
