A GROUP which represents people suffering from diseases caused by asbestos says it has suffered a setback in its campaign for compensation.
The House of Lords was today due to review a ruling which bars claimants from suing if they were exposed to dust by more than one employer.
But the Greater Manchester Asbestos Victim Support Group says the case will now not come to court.
The insurers are to pay the full amount being claimed by the families involved.
