LANCASHIRE and Yorkshire are being united via the internet to save money.
The two county councils have invested £1.1 million in a new scheme called Roses Marketplace, which will supply goods and services online on both sides of the Pennines.
They will be able to order items over the internet and get the cheapest price automatically.
