THE Bury-bound Metrolink platform at Victoria Station is due to reopen in time for the summer's Commonwealth Games.
It was closed last June because water was leaking from the roof and it was rendered unsafe.
Railtrack has now begun repair work and it is due to be completed in time for the Games.
