Man of the Match
YOURI DJORKAEFF
THE game needed a touch of real class and the Frenchman provided it. He had a hand in the goal, curled a free kick against the bar and showed terrific skill to set up Ricketts for the "goal" that might have earned Wanderers all three points.
Magic Moment
THE offside flag meant it counted for nothing but Djorkaeff's quality set-up and Ricketts superb finish came at the height of Wanderers' dominance and would have been a worthy winner in any game.
Moan of the Match
THE two "offside" judgments might well have been spot on but referee Messias and his assistants frustrated the players and riled the supporters with their general handling of the game.
KICK BY KICK

70 mins: Wanderers are carved open; Sherwood makes the break, Poyet feeds Rebrov but the £11m misfit fluffs the chance to seal it for Spurs.
71 mins: The pressure finally pays off; Whitlow gets a head to Djorkaeff's lobbed pass, Thatcher misses a routine clearance and Holdsworth pounces to beat Keller at close range.
72 mins: Whitlow shows great determination to get an important block on Anderton.
80 mins: Djorkaeff works his magic and Ricketts finishes superbly but the flag is up for a marginal offside.
