A REGISTER recognising long term relationships of gay and unmarried couples was being launched today in Manchester.
The Civic Partnership Register will recognise couples but will not be legally binding.
The first ceremony takes place at Manchester Town Hall this afternoon and all people living or working in Manchester can apply.
