THE Fred Jessop 4.3 miles multi terrain road and trail race took place at Whitworth on a warm, sunny evening.
Salford Harrier John Brown won the race by a clear margin while Rob Jackson of Horwich Harriers returned to form, producing a good finish in second place ahead of the in-form Clayton duo of Lee Pasco and Roger Brewster.
Horwich based Bryan Rogers representing Northern Vets AC finished a fine second over 65.
