BOLTON First team's North Lancs Division One survival is seriously in doubt after losing 23-10 to Trafford MV.

The visitors were soon 10-0 down but rallied and went in at the break down 13-3.

Trafford had three men yellow carded for foul play in the second-half but Bolton failed to take advantage. They finisished strongly and scored the final try through Mark Higgins but by tghen the game was lost.

Bolton must now win one of their two remaining home matches against relegation rivals Bedians or Heaton Moor.

AN open day will be held on Sunday from 10.30am when juniors aged between six and 18 are invited to the club. There is no charge to the event and refreshments will be served from the clubhouse. Players from Premier League side Sale Sharks will also be present.

Bolton 2nd team match - Sat 13th April v Trafford @ Avenue St

Bolton 2nds beat Trafford 28 - 7 while the Under 16s travelled to Glossop for their last game of the season and came out victors 34 -17.

They got off to a flying start in the 2nd minute with an excellent kick from Tom Keech, who scored a 35 yd penalty. This instilled confidence into the side and Bolton continued to dominate the rest of the game with try's coming from Richard Dent (2), Gary Koz, Chris Meagher and Sam Crompton. Keech played a captain's role and slotted over three conversions. All of Glossop's points came in the last few minutes of the game whilst Bolton were dreaming of their well deserved post match celebrations!
