BOLTON Thai Boxing Club had two successes at Hindley's Monaco. In the 58k super featherweight Simon Tomlinson on his debut beat Michael Gill of Wolverhampton with a majority points decision.
Jay Kilner in the 60k lightweight faced Will Allen, an opponent 3k heavier but stopped him in the first round with a technical knockout. It was his fifth fight and a good win after two losses. David Eckersley and Sandy Holt are their instructors.
