APRIL 16, 2002, was the 40th anniversary of the first time I became a mum.
This momentous event occurred in Haslam Maternity Home, Bolton.
I hope all the "babies" celebrating their 40th birthday on that day enjoyed their day and also the mums who, like me, where first-time mums.
Life is supposed to begin at 40. We gave life that beginning.
I especially remember those mums whose babies are now angels.
