FIREFIGHTERS wore breathing masks as they tackled a chemical incident in Leigh early today.
Five crews were called to Foscolour Ltd in Bickershaw Lane, Abram, just after 4.45am and found the building well alight. The firm makes plastic pellets. The extent of the damage is not yet known.
