A MAN has suffered serious head injuries in an unprovoked attack in Manchester.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses to the incident on Wellington Street, Gorton.
The man, who has not been named, was taken to Manchester Royal Infirmary and later transferred to Hope Hospital where he underwent emergency surgery.
