THE Lions dominated throughout and were leading 36-0 until the final 5 minutes when Saddleworth scored two converted tries.
Excellent team work produced some very good rugby league and the Lions scored a total of eight tries.
The under 8s faced an undefeated side in Thatto Heath, but played with courage. They eventually went down by 20-4 with Elaine Jones sneaking a try at the last.
