PER Frandsen has played his way into the World Cup reckoning.
The Wanderers' midfield ace, back in the Premiership swing after a seven-match injury lay-off, has retained his place in the Denmark national squad and could well have booked his ticket to this summer's finals in Korea and Japan.
Frandsen has been named in Morten Olsen's squad for the friendly against Israel in Copenhagen next Wednesday. Stig Tofting, a regular in the Denmark side but currently sidelined with a foot injury, tipped Frandsen to figure in the World Cup reckoning when he arrived at the Reebok from Hamburg in February.
Frandsen, who made his 200th Premiership appearance for Wanderers in the Easter Monday defeat at Everton, was in the Denmark World cup squad in France four years ago.
