LET'S try and stop the mobile phone idiots.
Recently, while driving through town, I noticed in my rear view mirror a car about 18 inches from the back of my car. He was trying to steer with a cigarette in his right hand, his left hand was holding a mobile phone to his ear.
Holding a conversation and several puffs on his cigarette meant his control over the vehicle at times was non-existent. His indicators were never used.
This situation continued for quite some time until, eventually, I turned off and he went on his merry way.
I wonder if he got there unscathed.
My concern would be for anyone else who happened to be in his path.
