HOME hunters could be moving into new flats on the site of a Worsley church hall.
Harlor Homes has applied to Salford Council for planning permission to demolish St Marks Church Hall in Edge Fold Road and build 12 flats and a car park.
The council has had 55 letters objecting on grounds including loss of privacy, over-development, insufficient car parking space, and loss of value to surrounding properties.
Planning officers have recommended that the developer should be asked to sign a legal agreement saying it would address problems including improving access to the site before the plan is approved.
