A NEW sister act features in Halliwell Theatre Company's next production.
Maria Lee may well be a familiar face with St Osmund's ADS in Breightmet but she makes her first contribution to the Halliwell company as director.
And her sister, Jane Lee, also makes her Halliwell debut, appearing on the stage.
The company presents Inspector Drake And The Perfekt Crime which runs from tomorrow until Saturday at Church Hall on Harvey Street, 7.30.
The play is a comedy by David Tristam and features the legendary Inspector Drake. The detective is back to face his greatest-ever challenge as he attempts to unravel a plot full of twists.
Who is the mysterious Doctor Short and why did he marry a warthog? Has he murdered his fourth wife -- or did she murder him first? Has he really got two daughters called Sabrina or is one of them telling lies? And perhaps most importantly of all, why is there a lamp post in the living room?
These are just some of the questions facing the world's most famous detective, as he gropes for the answer to the perfect crime.
Tickets are £4 adults and £3 concessions (with all tickets £4 on Friday and Saturday) and are available from Bolton 597055 or 847878.
